Clarifying Clarity…

How can these role models be developed? How can we encourage a generation who should be role models, to be available to make this contribution, which they received in their life.
Four changes has to happen in the way we perceive, live and act.
One - Relocations into context where people have access into your lives. We have to strategically relocate. Relocate to locations where there are opportunities for communities of caring to be developed and where supportive mentoring and building can happen.
Two - Relationship building as the primary strategy. Mentoring and building can happen only in the context of proactive relationship building. Changes has to happen in the way we look at our life involvement, from being care providers and healers to community builders.  
Three - Renewal of Open home and open life practices. Relationships should lead to openness and vulnerability – where houses are open homes and lives are open books. Homes and Lives should be opened in such a way so that not only the successes, but challenges and failures are open for others to see and learn from.
Four - Recognition of primary role as Mentors and people builders. Finally the purpose of God’s calling has to be understood as building others who can build God’s Kingdom than we building it ourselves!
But along with this some changes has to happen in the way we perceive mentoring and people building.
The purpose of Mentoring should be
To facilitate building of a generation of people who understand the “Men of Issachar principle” – People who understand times, know what to do – building discerning people, who will understand the context from God’s perspective and will know what to do…..not do what we have done...
To facilitate building of a generation of people who understand the “David’s obituary principle” – People who will serve God’s purposes in their generation – building relevant people, not only those who know what to do, but serve their generation relevant to the context...
To facilitate building of people who will understand the “Abraham’s call principle” – Leave and go – people who are called, have the courage to step out and continue to persevere though no results are visible….
Will our generation have the courage to do this..?
